How to customize vibrations and notifications on my Apple Watch?

Hello, I have a question about the vibration settings of the apple watch.

My request is to set them so that nothing vibrates on me except the alarm and the call.

I managed to set it so that everything vibrates for me (messenger, Instagram, etc.), I don't want that because my hand keeps vibrating. Or turn off vibration, but then my calls don't vibrate.

The last option is to turn on vibrations and turn off Instagram, messenger, etc. notifications, but I don't want that. I want my calls and alarm to vibrate, messenger, Instagram to give notifications without vibration. Thanks for the help.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! You can manage the Apple Watch Haptic Alerts

By following the steps below:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Scroll down and tap Sounds & Haptics.
3. Turn Haptic Alerts on or off.

Apple Watch showing the Sounds & Haptics screen in Settings

4. To add extra emphasis to haptic alerts, tap Prominent. This feature adds an additional haptic tap that pre-announces some of your other haptic alerts.

You can also change the settings for specific apps from your iPhone. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, go to the My Watch tab, and tap Sounds & Haptics.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.

Is vibration only alerts for selected apps on apple watch possible? I have an iPhone 11 and an Apple Watch Series 3. I plan on upgrading both soon to 14/8. What I want to happen on the watch is alerts to happen as vibration only on selected apps only. eg I still want sound and vibration for calls/texts, but there are other apps like my home security cameras that I want vibration only alerts as they can sometimes be frequent and can be annoying to others. I also don't need sound alerts on the phone for some of these apps but turning off sounds for each app in phone settings also turns off vibration for each of those alerts from that app some unknown reason. Turning off 'mirror phone' does nothing to make the notifications settings customisable for ANY app in my watch app. I also noticed turning off 'mirror phone' for just one (any) app immediately turns off 'haptic alerts' turn mirror phone back on for that one app that is turned off and haptic alerts immediately turn back on without user interaction. Is this an issue due to an older watch, is this a fixed issue in new watch series? Or is what I am wanting just not possible? I don't think it is app developer related, it seems like it should be a simple option available for each app. Turn on/off sound and vibration as separate alerts. If it affects the outcome, I usually have my phone switched to silent mode because all my alerts come through on my watch.

Apple Watch vibrations Hi, I’m new to Apple Watch having switched from Fitbit - is there a way to have vibrations for WhatsApp and Facebook messenger notifications on watch? I can’t seem to work out a way to do it. Vibrations are working fine with my normal iPhone messages - just not for WhatsApp or messenger - more bothered about WhatsApp. Thanks!

text and call notifications on IWatch I just got a new IWatch. I want to have my watch vibrate when I get a call or a text message. Currently it is only giving me a vibration for notifications from news agencies but no texts or calls.
